My Little Corner of the Internet

I had a sleep study last night, and thought I slept like a rock. Then why am I so tired now? I have been half asleep all day! Hmmmm!

Can't we work together?

I posted this some time ago as my Facebook status, and I believe it is just as relevant now!

People please! Can we all get over ourselves now?!?!?! I don't care if you are a Republican, a Democrat, or any other political affiliation, can we all stop acting like a bunch of whiney kids pointing fingers at each other! What happened to "One Nation" anyway?!?!

Let me tell you what we look like to the rest of the world right now! We look like a bunch of idiots standing around a pothole in the road, blaming each other for the existence of said pothole. We have the tools we need, right here to fix the damn pothole, but are too bullheaded to put our differences aside, work together, and get that that road repaved if necessary!

All this finger pointing, name-calling, and disrespecting our president because maybe "your guy didn't win" or just standing around gloating because “your guy did win,” is sending a clear message to our enemies! That message is this; that we Americans are no longer capable of getting our shit together! This is a very dangerous message to send people! It makes us look weak, and ineffectual! In other words, it makes it look like; if we can't fix a pothole, we can't fix anything, and we can be easily conquered! To the rest of the world we are showing our asses, and our mothers raised us better people!

Put your money where your mouth is (that means all of us), pick up the damn shovel, stop pointing fingers, and start working WITH your fellow Americans instead of against them, to restore our country to greatness!

Stop the whining, the distortions, the name-calling, and get down to it! This is not middle school, this is the real deal, and there are no do-overs, so let's stop screwing up while we still have a chance!

If this call to duty pissed you off, please un-friend me!
