Wow, haven't been here forever!

I've decided that I am just too old to do the big Christmas gathering thing! I am abdicating my Queen of Christmas Crown. I recommend Shelby Templin to be my replacement, if she chooses to accept. The left overs are great, but the preparation is just too much for me these days! I will just concentrate on making my candy and bringing whatever dish Shelby asks me to bring.

We did have a great time over at Barb's house though. I cooked all my food and we transported it there. After all the work I did, I still didn't feel that my house was guest ready, but as I think about it now, with all the food, gifts and fun, I don't think anybody would have noticed! LOL! Still, I am exhausted now, and I hurt everywhere!

Next Christmas I wold like to be in Portland, OR with my daughter, son-in-law, and my grand kids! Need to start saving money for the trip! I need to spend some time with my grand kids!
